We just purchased some new furniture this past weekend and my favorite piece is now comfortably situated in front of the big TV just inviting me to come watch movies until… well… until I fall asleep, actually.
Here it is, swamping Megan in its giantness.
It’s doubly awesome (no pun intended) because it will easily hold two people (hence the name), so now when Megan and I want to watch My Neighbor Totoro again, we don’t have to fight over who gets the comfy chair.
The only problem is reaching the remote on the side table.

I’m not sure who the manufacturer is, but we got it at a Big Lots! store. I think they still sell it there.
can you tell me if this chair held up…I see this was posted in 2013.
It’s actually done pretty well. We still have it. The hardware has held up fine (though we’re generally kind of gentle with it). The padding on the seat has compressed a bit, so it’s slightly lopsided, but not so much that it’s uncomfortable. It’s still easily my favorite TV chair. 🙂
